Today Wendy VanderWal Gritter, Executive Director of Generous Space Ministries, brought a “sit-on-the-edge” of your seat talk from Psalm 51. She brings an alternative way of seeing, suggesting that the great sin that needs to be repented of is the “naval-gazing” of an isolating and individualistic shame theology. Instead, she wants to see people rooted and grounded in a true sense of their “beloved-ness.”
