In her Easter Homily, Jess reflects on the mystery of the resurrection and considers how to honour the story of Jesus’ death while disentangling ourselves from the vengeful atonement narratives that have been passed on to many of us. Through reflecting on the nature of Love, how death leads to life, and the experience of God through others, she concludes that we are the resurrection, and that it is through witnessing the love of her community that she can say, “Christ is risen; He is risen indeed.” You can listen below.
