Continuing our theme on “A Spirit of Hope,” Jess walks us through the Sermon on the Mount as a message of hope and resistance to a people suffering under systems designed to keep them at the bottom. She points out that when we see people taking to the streets in protest, what we are seeing is hope that a more beautiful world is possible. Jess explores how Jesus’ teaching in the Sermon on the Mount offers a path toward co-creating that world together. You can listen below, and view her powerpoint here.
