This is Thanksgiving Weekend in Canada but families in New Brunswick have been asked not to gather for dinner with people from outside their households. Our church service was sparsely attended but there was great interaction from the ones who did make it out. Peter Fitch spoke about contentment as a precursor to wonder and thanksgiving. He sees it as the opening door that allows us to connect with the wonder in other people and with the experiences we have.
