On the Fourth Sunday of Advent, Mark Groleau invited us into the intersection of the original “St. Stephen” (i.e. the first Deacon of Acts 6, chosen to serve the poor), the caring and sacrificial example of Wenceslaus (whose kindness “on the Feast of Stephen” – Dec. 26 – was immortalized in the Christmas carol) and the town of St. Stephen that has opportunities to care for those in need.
