Where You Go, I Will Go

Speaker: March 15, 2026
Ruth and Naomi

Looking at the story of Ruth and the Samaritan woman at the well, Jess reflects on how the bible reveals an ever-expanding view of salvation that challenges religious and cultural norms. She shares how she looks at passages that seem exclusive through a Christological lens, and reflects on what it means to worship God in “spirit and in truth”. She ends with an invitation to follow Jesus’ example of going where the Spirit goes, and not assuming we know where that will be, followed by the song “Where You Goâ€. You can listen below and view her powerpoint here.

“Where You Go was written by 5 songwriters in January 2026, and inspired by the people of Minneapolis (and many many other communities in our country), who are choosing one another over anything else.”
