(no recording today) It was family time at SCV. Adults and kids alike were asked to form groups and create a creature out of playdoh that had three super powers. Because we are a creative community, we had very interesting creatures. Groups had to then come together and create a story of how their creatures came together. We laughed a lot and enjoyed each other. Mark Groleau and Joy Benson Green shared personal stories and stories from the bible about how we see people who are different from us. We were all challenged as to what it would look like in today’s world to sit with our enemy…. to sit with those who have different religious views, political views and values. It was a great time of eating together and enjoying each other at SCV’s 2nd breakfast.
