On a day when Aldea Poirier was reading in Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance by Robert Pirsig that the author hated it when people asked “what is beauty?”, Peter Fitch dedicated a Sunday talk to that very question. People shared stories and ideas and he read from C.S. Lewis and from Ian Morgan Cron to talk about the role that beauty plays in calling us to remembrance of God in the world. The talk began with a song by Andrew Smith called “Holes in the Night Sky” and it included a video with the song “This is Me” from the movie, “The Greatest Showman.” (sorry the recording started a bit late but you can listen to the song with the link below)
