Lindsay McKay gives an unusually beautiful talk about her growing up years in Yellowknife. Her family took in many foster children and one of them, Keona, stayed forever. She had extreme medical needs and the family prayed about each and every one. Gradually, she flourished and outgrew many of the dire predictions about her life. But not everything was healed. Lindsay uses this story as a magnificent entry into the complexities of prayer. She thinks that attention to life and people, loving others, and walking forward into mystery, actually is prayer.
