Treasured Stories / July 7, 2019
Peter Fitch shares the way he’s been thinking about God lately with a Bible story and some images (see the power point). He sees rivers within their banks as a good picture of natural law and the structure necessary for people to thrive and for the universe to exist. But he sees something else, too. At times, rivers overflow. He likens this to the special moments in life when something strange or mystical happens, and he wonders if God is as eager to find willing participants in the overflow moments as we are to experience them. After sharing these ideas, he asks if anyone would like to tell one of their own stories. Several people do and they are all amazing.
